Our Story
The Peaks Pet Nanny began with a very real need. While working full-time in the office, Gina found herself driving home in the middle of the day to let her dog out, then heading right back to work again. Like many pet parents, she wanted to make sure her dog was comfortable and cared for during long workdays. That daily routine sparked an idea: there must be other pet owners who need the same kind of help. Gina began helping a few local families, becoming the very first Peaks Pet Nanny herself. Word quickly spread among pet owners seeking reliable, compassionate care, and the small, solo service began to grow. The name “The Peaks” was inspired by Gina’s neighborhood, The Peaks community in Lake Hopatcong, where the business first began. Today, The Peaks Pet Nanny has grown into a trusted pet care company serving families throughout Northern New Jersey. The business remains proudly family-run, with Gina and Patric working together to support daily operations and ensure every pet receives the thoughtful, dependable care the company was built upon. What began with one dog and one simple idea has grown into a company dedicated to caring for pets as if they were our own.

Getting Started with The Peaks Pet Nanny
We understand that inviting someone into your home to care for your pets is an important decision, and we’re here to make the process simple and comfortable. New clients begin by completing our New Client Form, which helps us learn a little about you, your pets, and the care you may need.
A member of our office team will then reach out to gather a few additional details, answer any questions, and help guide you through the process. From there, we’ll schedule a Meet & Greet with the Pet Nanny who will be caring for your pets. This visit gives everyone a chance to get acquainted, review routines, and ensure it feels like the right fit for both you and your pets. We look forward to meeting you and your pets.
