Karin
Pet Nanny Since 2020
Karin has been a genuine animal lover and advocate ever since childhood. As a youngster, her best friend was her beloved Collie, and between the two of them, they would find and bring home stray animals, extending their little furry family. Fulfilling her passion, Karin followed her heart and made a goal to work with animals. Karin received her college degree in Animal Biology with a concentration in Canine Behavior from Hampshire College and has worked in animal care for almost 30 years. For approximately 10 of those years, Karin was employed at a veterinarian hospital in northern NJ as a Veterinary Technician, assisting the veterinarians, participating in surgical procedures, administering medications such as insulin and fluids, and managing hospital's kennel. Karin has enjoyed being "Mom" to numerous cats, dogs, rodents, rabbits, and an iguana. Karin and her family also foster dogs until she can place them in much needed, loving "forever-homes." She lives in Netcong with her husband and twin children. In her spare time away from animals, Karin also volunteers with Scouts BSA, Girl Scouts, and the local school PTA.
