Katie resides in Newton, NJ, with her boyfriend and their three beautiful dogs; Brock, the Blue Heeler; Wyatt, the American Staffordshire Terrier; and Misia, the Malador (Malamute-Labrador mix.) She is a lifelong animal lover, growing up with dogs and all kinds of critters. After years of working as a legal secretary and attending college for art in New York City, she realized the hustle and bustle of city life wasn't quite her thing and moved back to New Jersey, becoming a farmhand at the Turtle Back Zoo. After that, she went into end-of-life care, as a nurse's aide, with experience in both facility and in-home settings. She finds great fulfillment in being a caretaker and returns to caring for animals. She is excited about the opportunity to work for Peak's Pet Nanny, having moved to northern NJ after growing into an experienced pet caregiver in the Pinelands and Cherry Hill area. She is certified in Cat & Dog First Aid by the American Red Cross and would treat your pets with the same love and care she shows her own.
