Theresa grew up in western Canada and now lives in Jefferson Township with two sweet cats, both of whom moved in as strays and quickly decided she was their forever family. Ever since she was a small child and would scare her mother by running up to strange dogs that were much larger than she was, she has loved to spend time with all kinds of animals and rarely lived without one. She is committed to helping both animals and people whenever she can and founded an organization three years ago to support community members in need of help with food, housing, and other needs that have so far helped over 3,000 families. In her spare time, she loves to travel, read and write, play guitar, kayak or swim in the lake, play tennis, and spend lots of time in nature. She has experience with giving medication to dogs and cats and experience with handling seizures, and she is calm during emergencies. She is very excited to meet you and your pets!
